This is the home page of the site Defending-Islam. The purpose of this site is to promote Da’wah and the cause of Islam.

The site has two sections:

1. One Section for Explaining Islam and Answering General Allegations Against Islam.

2. Another Section for refuting the allegations and showing the truth of Islam to followers of the major world religions. This site will focus on:

* Christianity

* Atheism/Agnosticism

* Hinduism

* Buddhism

* Pseudo-Islamic Groups

* Other religions (Sikhism, Judaism, etc.)

(Note: We are submitting our articles for approval from Muslim scholars, and have taken down most of the articles we previously had on our site. Thus, while our articles are being reviewed, we will maintain the 'draft versions' of such articles, until such time as we receive formal approval for our work. We do hope that the readers will nevertheless benefit from both our approved and our draft articles, though we strongly urge them to consider the notice regarding the draft articles we upload to our site. We also advise our readers to read the comments regarding the translations made in the works on this site.

Also, the readers should consider that many times the server for this site may not be working properly. Thus, we urge our readers to periodically check the MuslimAnswers.net site, which is basically a reflection of this site, but which has no technical issues as far as we know, in addition to features such as search and comments options that are not available in here. Also, we will use it to upload partial articles and other ongoing work before the completed version is put up on this site.

Finally, we had maintained a separate site (notesonislamicworks.com) for writing down notes on Islamic works. However, the information there will be merged with this site, so that everything may be available at one location. We have to mention that for this section as well, the information is also not decisive due to the notes being taken directly from books and other works before any mistakes are pointed out by scholars; so these can be considered as mostly "preliminary notes" on Islamic books and works).
